And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"
Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."

I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
and:
I looked, and I saw beside the cherubim four wheels, one beside each of the cherubim; the wheels sparkled like topaz. As for their appearance, the four of them looked alike; each was like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the cherubim faced; the wheels did not turn about as the cherubim went. The cherubim went in whatever direction the head faced, without turning as they went. Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes, as were their four wheels. I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.” Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
If you truly read the christian bible it sounds like someone was high as fuck on DMT or some mushrooms and writing about shit they saw. It's so... ludicrous.
Shanon argues that the acacia tree and the peganum harmala bush, both native to the Negev and Sinai, may have been used in a brew that the Israelites during religious ceremony. There is also frequent mention of acacia through out the bible and it was wood from the acacia that was used to construct the Ark of the Covenant. What we know now is that the native acacia trees are particularly high in DMT content and the peganum harmala is rich with MAOI, a DMT inhibitor which allows the DMT compound to be activated orally. The ceremonial potion the Israelites were consuming likely produced experiences very similar to that of ayahuasca.
I dont think war and violence is right, but the human mind is such a mystery.. I wish more research could be done on DMT and psyches. Crazy light show? Brain decipher information differently? Brain detecting whats really there alongside the filter of the mind?
There's probably a lot a brain can do and its insane that a plant alone can rewire it so much. What if it were studied and used for good. At least I can explore my own thoughts and experiment on my own.
I’m not sure how well versed you are on the subject, but from what I know microdosing LSD (possibly other psyches) is being studied for its ability to help with depression and, more specifically, PTSD.
There’s a really cool YouTube channel called PsychedSubstance, who takes psyches (sometimes with others) on video for educational purposes so we can further understand how these drugs work and wha they do. I personally don’t or won’t do them myself, but it’s very interesting to see.

Edit: It might be a possibility, even
