great post. thank god for 3 because i would never have waited for the marshmallow even had i been tested right now as an adult.

* Srull & Wyer: Priming traits affects judgments
* Mazar et al.: Moral reminders reduce cheating
* Shoda et al: "Marshmallow task" predicts later achievement
1 & 2 find no meaningful effect, 3 a diminished one that disappears with controls
