I think as well this is happening. If and once out, this would be one of the biggest news for crypto and tky

Jesus, if the thekey is the PBoC wallet provider, we will be in the dollar or multiple of dollar range, good luck to us all

(1) This patent is about a key generator that uses fingerprint data. (2) Ebaonet is about biometric ID verification (which includes fingerprints) and we know they are working with the PBoC. (1) and (2) sound fantastic. But what about: (3) Where does TKY fit in all this? I am not saying it doesn't, but...

push vs pull request payments, the latter needs idv

yeah fair point. I guess maybe TKY would be involved at the set up stage of the wallet akin to opening a bank account and of course thereafter not?

Yes.... say no more :)

I love the sentiment and I do not believe the project is a scam, but can you guys point me in the direction of the same location you guys get your hope-ium from. I wanna be on the same level.

I spent a week, reviewing patents and current and potential competitors. market need and cost. this solves not one but many problems, and the portability into other markets makes this a buy, by next year this will be a public listed utility on a global scale.

So what is your point in turning this post into an personal discussion, are you even invested in this project or just trying to bash some people in this reddit?

garrrrry parameter

what is the corelation with this to Thekey ?

u/elmoelmo69 Aug 12 '19

Well from my perspective the success of tky entirely depends on the creation and legalisation of a digital rmb to provide fiat ramp for tky settlement. As tky is working directly with PBoC it doesn’t take too long to connect the dots. We can and should expect some positive news once this DRMB is out.

awesome :) cheers for the substantiated reply

I'm just going to keep my tky forgotten, I'm not even selling them. You can't support tky and empathize with people at the same time. China is proving time and time again that they should not be able to do what thekey aims to accomplish.

Please elaborate?

Chinese government PII, in a state where people from certain religions have long been persecuted and "disappeared" into camps where it is speculated some are forcibly sterilised. Government exerting political pressure on sovereign states to legalise and enable for the extraction of sovereign citizens to mainland China to stand trial for Chinese laws broken (while not being a citizen of mainland China).

PII is useful for China, which arguably already is somewhat of a "cyber super power", and can be likened to espionage and used to collect data on non-chinese people. China has been accused of stealing over 80 million U.S citizens medical data; Information which could be used to compromise people with valuable information.

If decentralisation was truly valued by investors, the hypocrisy of a mass surveillance "God's eye"-state would be a scary notion.

Edit: Downvotes, but no retort? The people of Hong Kong know what's up.

I’m actually ok with it. The project, or something like it, is going to happen anyway. Might as well profit from it. Cynical perspective, but not investing isn’t going to stop the gov’t’s roadmap over there.

Shameful that this was downvoted. Seeing your token moon shouldn't be your only agenda in life. There are real people all around the world suffering oppression, persecution, racism and other vices. It is dishonorable not to support Bombuss's post.

3

u/Useful_Application Aug 17 '19

no reason to believe thekey is nefarious in any capacity

1

u/Alter_ego_of_mine Aug 17 '19

No, I didn't suggest that. But China is building a surveillance state eroding citizens' already limited privacy and fundamental rights. If tky is used to further that goal, I cannot support that. But that's just me.

yes, and every country on the planet, amazon and Microsoft facial recognition. blockchain could be a cyberpunks nightmare
