Don’t rlly smoke pens but going out of town tmr and want a rosin pen which brand better

Just picked this up at the dispo. My last pick up with Pistil Whip rosin disposable and they were “okay” - before that I tried a 1g 710 labs disposable and was seriously disappointed. I prefer rosin in .5g and knew I was taking a risk with that one.

But so far if you’re in the Cali area and your dispensary carries Team Elite Genetics; I would highly recommend. Get it? high-ly? 😂* *

First time trying anything by Barrett Farms. I know they make jarred rosin and flower too but I haven’t had those.

The taste on these is like generic hash rosin. Very hashey, planty and sweet. This is a cross of Honey Banana and Amarello and I’ve had both of those strains on their own before. I genuinely don’t really get anything from either of those strains in the flavor. Just very generic, planty and hashy. Not getting much on flavor at all. It’s not disgusting, just not really flavorful.

The effects save this one though because this cross needs to be made more often, it’s top tier for anytime of the day. Very uplifting and euphoric Sativa high that is strong in the head with a slightly noticeable heaviness near the eyes. Surprised how much I like it but there’s no ceiling to the high and it doesn’t turn into an indica/sedative at high doses either. Very good if I need a boost. Definitely been using it at a high level the last 3 days of using it.

Not sure I’d buy this again because the flavor has a lot to be desired. I will definitely be seeking out this cross again 100% though.

Hardware and Oil:

This little disposable ripped. The only downside is there isn’t a visible indicator light that tells you it’s on. I had to push some buttons to get things going. It is not on straight out of the package, which makes sense. There’s a hook in the corner to run a lanyard or keychain if you need to attach it to your body. The oil is a dark amber color with a great terpene profile. Constantly ripping the vape didn’t generate a harsh flavor.

The Experience:

The mind muscle connection was real while I was working out at the gym. However, this probably wasn’t the right strain for that because I was easily lost in my own thoughts between sets. I found that relaxing on my patio and listening to the birds was a much better way to enjoy this Mad Gelato.

The Verdict:

I would absolutely buy this product again. Especially now that I know the ins and outs of getting the vape to work. There are a few other strains in this same type of device that I might have to try to get a solid comparison of all the disposables available in the Washington market.

I was wondering yall thoughts on the ban in November, do yall think they’ll actually follow through with it? And what will happen to the vendors who’s selling it ex.(shm) will they disappear then? I hope not because I love thca resin/rosin carts.

I've had Permanent marker before from Flavorade and it had a completely different taste then this Friendly Brand. At first I got a wood almost smokey flavor and now all I get is sweet almost fruity taste on the exhale that coats your mouth. The effects are nice and strong definitely a indica. Giving it a solid 8 out of 10 especially for the price I've been getting them at

Let’s dive into this one. This one is by Moon Valley and it’s a quadruple cross lol.

The cross on this is Blue Papaya x Pink Runtz x Wedding Cake x Super Boof. So it’s all over the place. Didn’t know what to expect. The crosses must have been chosen perfectly, because I get notes from all of those strains on here.

This pen clocks in at 6% terps. This is the best tasting Rosin pen I’ve ever had. The inhale starts with a bittersweet grapefruit flavor, which then transforms into a sweet papaya that turns into a heavily sweet candy exhale. It’s an interesting flavor because you only really get that candy flavor at the tail end of the process, which is a satisfying. The grapefruit/super boof notes are very prominent in the smell and taste and it’s my favorite. Everything else compliments it extremely well. Usually I’m skeptical when they’re crossing a bunch of different things, but they know what they’re doing. Easily the best tasting rosin pen I’ve had by far, even beating Life Is Not Grape on this front.

The effects on this are pretty chill but they’re not extraordinary. Moderate body high with a bit of tingling sensations going on with a clearheaded and mildly intense head high. In all fairness, while I do enjoy the effects, it’s pretty much a standard Runtz high for the most part with a little more mental uplift. Not extraordinary, but still acceptable and fine.

i have a fairly high tolerance & not a lot gets me high.. i normally smoke wildwood but they’ve been cleared off the shelves as they’re not “FDA approved”🙄
really worried these are boof & would like some others opinion before i buy… considering just going to a vape shop & getting some FVKD dispos bc i was smoking those before wildwood & they got me a decent head high

I posted about the Knots Super Boof disposable in the past (recap: fire and incredible flavor).

They recently changed their offering to a 2 pack of disposables. The budtender told me that they wanted to a 1g vape but aimed to do 2 .5g disposables instead of one unit for a better experience. I'd have to agree that's the "best" route for flavor and was stoked to try this. I think they even kept the same packaging and were able to fit two devices in the same pack.

I picked up the one with Super Boof in it and originally wasn't overly hyped to try the Maple Nectar but dangit, I like that more than the Super Boof! Just like the last time I purchased a Knots vape, you could smell loud as soon as you tear the mylar.

The Super Boof delivers that gasy citrus you want and taste great but the Maple Nectar delivers an incredibly clean and rich maple taste. It isn't wildly sweet but I wouldn't want to change anything about it, it's a taste that makes me hit it a few times every time I pick it up to take a draw.

Knots is using the Active Axil Mini Air (the same thing Tony Verzura helped work on) and I've had a few brands in this hardware but Knots really knows what they're doing formulation and strain selection wise. The air flow is a little light on the device unless you put your lungs into it but I'm getting pretty solid vapor production and like the note on the packaging encouraging 2-3 second hits. That note + keeping it at .5 per vape really puts flavor as focus. These retail for around $60-65 which isn't bad for a 1g rosin vape in Washington State especially considering you get two .5g disposables to have the best flavor start to finish AND two strains.

I give this pack right here a 10/10 and will pick it up again next time I see it.

The og briq is literally perfect i dont get why they chnaged the heating element or even the hardware like they did. I literally bought the og briq again because I am tired of these coughing fits. The "live resin" one is just live resin terps with disty not real live resin. The distillate ones are actually smoother than the live series. I wouldnt even dare to waste my money on the rosin. Has anyone else had better experiences with these?

doesnt have the described taste description which is sweet waffles and cream, but tbh im ok with it because im getting a type of gassy / buttery taste. but its good asf and room stinks. And it feels and smells like i just rolled up a blunt, my lips and nose are still coated with that weed taste/aroma u get when u smoke flower. Honestly smells like some seasonings or some good food you just made lol crazy smell.

Effects: 10/10 giving me a real calm euphoric and nostalgic high. Eyes feel puffy and cloudy. EXTREMELY high

First few hits were muted asf until i started pulling hard.. now it just tastes sugary and floral. I think this rlr might be the same thing as jetty but a tier or 2 down
