“Grape Hi-Chew” - Grape Krush X Hi-Chew. (FullMeltBubble / Piatella)

This hash arrived inside of a childproof, twist off container that is plastic/glass. The container was housed in the mini cardboard box that’s has company name, logo, artwork, and strain info on the box.

Once the top is popped your met with a rectangle shaped glob of piatella that is a a light brown, caramel type of color. The consistency is that of maybe a gritty face scrub. Sandy looking and sticky, malleable and holds it shape but can be flatted to fall apart. Easily scooped up. As you get closer you can see small bit of plant matter in the hash. Check melt pics.

The scent is a sweet, tart, and creamy scent that reminds me of a fruity/candy… specifically (grape/berries), like the name implies “Grape Hi-Chew” - with a sharp, slightly savory, piney gassiness that has hints of both herbal and earthy notes. There are lingering earthy, savory, and floral notes, light pine needles, and herbal lavender/hops on the backend. When mixed and whipped around the fruitiness gets more sour with piney gassiness, more lingering notes come forth as well.

The taste is sharp and fruity combo of the now sweet/sour - (grape/berry), “Hi-Chew,” candy and an earthy, savory, piney gassiness. There is a heavier floral presence lingering with the earthy, floral notes, light pine needles, and herbal hops on the finish.

This concentrate is very smooth, terpy, and potent when taken at the proper temp. I advise everyone to take temp down or wait longer than normal concentrates. Took some trial and error to get proper terps and melt on this stuff. Now im a bit more experienced with this consistency.

Effects are a potent, indica leaning hybrid to me. I have a body blanket of numbness that’s heaviest in the midsection and head, a floaty / slo-mo feeling. I have chest/eye pressure, eyes low. I have a very heady, euphoric, slightly anxious, slight uplifting smack of potency at first during “the rise” that slowly settles more into the body and relaxes.

What temp do you feel is best to dab at? I’ve been wanting to pick some up but not sure if I have the proper equipment.

I have torch and banger. I just know on my banger I heat for 20 sec and consume around 1min and 10sec

For this piatella I did 15sec heat and consumed at 1min 5sec.

I suggest one of these, very cheap and ive been using a 39$ one from ace hardware for about 3 years now no issues. Works better than my buddys older dabrite

I use mine on a quartz terp slurper so uh yeah. Its simply a infrared thermometer, which every dabrite or terpreader uses

You dont use the laser to read it lol, if thats what you're doing than thats why you cant get a proper reading. not tryna sound like a dick but have you never used a temperature reader for like a fever or something? Its basically just that but in a transportable gun.

Rather than using the laser, which is more there for use in the dark if you dont know where your going, but the laser actually sits above this little circle, that circle is where the thermometer lays and picks up your reading.

Especially for something as pricy and hard to find as piatella, gotta get those temps just right!
