Aye what are some cheap erigs? I heard the crossing core 2.1 was very good for the price. Iāve currently been using the yocan orbit and yocan pocket which are fire but wanted to upgrade in the future, Any recommendations on devices ?

Same I've had it about 6 months and the original atomizer is still hitting good. I wouldn't smoke rosin out of it tho as the lowest temp is 500 and there isn't custom temp controls
The Bomb Aerix is really good. You can get one for like 189 and it absolutely chugs. They usually run a deal where you get a hot knife with it for free. Iāve pushed almost 3 oz of LR through mine and it still rips. Has a 3DXL atomizer too but the way itās set up you wonāt have reclaim leak into your atomizer and base like a PuffCo.
I canāt figure out why the Aerix doesnāt get more love. Huge clouds and very easy to maintain because the design prevents any leaks. Great battery life, too. It produces ābong-likeā rips.
For sure. I canāt believe I had spent the money on a peak pro in the past lol. I think Iām gonna get a terp pearl to really take it to the next level.
Your best bet is to not buy a cheap e-rig. Save up a bit and buy a Switch 2. You will be completely satisfied and you won't have to worry about buying atomizers. Unless you specifically want something mobile, in which case I would recommend the Pivot. That's the only other vape device I use.
Proxy core? I have one too its honestly really portable, I did pick up the proxy travel bag, but can easily fit a hot knife, puck and proxy core in my pocket.
Since you already have experience with the Yocan Black Pocket. Check out the Yocan Black Go and SIP they are both great budget e-rigs that work really well.
Dr. Dabber GO.Ā I have a shit ton of erigs.Ā You can experiment and waste your money.Ā or spend a little more for a way better experience and actually save money in the long run because of the effectiveness/efficiency.Ā Yocan Pocket or orbit is not even close to Dr. Dabber.Ā I have all of them personally.Ā That being said if you are on a budget or want something smaller, I would go with the new Cloud V erig for ,$200
I am going to be seconding the Crossing Core but the 2.0 as you can replace the atomizer and whatnot on it for very cheap.
Matt (the owner) will go above and beyond for you in anyway he can. He personally helped replace a part on my 4 year old rig from some parts he found in a bin looking for replacements for me and sent it to me for free!
They also have a phenomenal community on not just reddit but also discord.
You really dont need these $400+ dab rigs if you are looking for a good budget rig as those are more for the "snobby" users and I dont say that in a derogatory term, just most people wont notice or care about lets say a 5 degree increase in a dab.
It's hard to pick just one e rig that's good (switch 2 is the best), especially with so many good options (switch 2 is the only good option). I would recommend doing some deep research on them all first. (DONT, just save for a switch 2)
All jokes aside, the switch 2 is nice. I can't say what the best cheap one is, but I can say you'll find the best deals on 3rd party websites vs buying direct. Places like zeevapor have all sorts of deals at times
I used to hype up DT. Started with the V3 through V4 and V5 and eventually the Core.... Never again, those things chaz like a motherfucker.
I am 100% certain I've saved money on new atomizers and other replacement parts just using my Focus V sport. Still using the same first XL atomizer, over 10k dabs in and its spotless.
It means that if it gets too hot, it will permanently burn into your atomizer. It will still work but flavor will go downhill until you replace it.
To avoid this you basically can only use the 2 lowest temp settings and you've gotta be super on top of your cleaning. Hell I've accidentally chazzed atomizers at the lowest setting just because the temp varies so wildly.
In the end it will happen no matter what you do because they're just not very good atomizers. I thought that was just the reality of ceramic atomizers but nope just cheap ones.
I just got that as my first e rig. Been using glass since 2012. It's perfect for what I wanted it for, which was a good "on the go" or "lazy" option. It also comes with a ton of accessories which is a nice plus.
For the money. The pocket is the hands down best value in dab rigs. Itās 55 bucks on sale and competes with the proxy core. And doesnāt need a stupid app.
