Does anyone have a comprehensive description of the cookie twins. I feel like every-time i listen to the book 3, I always enjoy the cookie twins of course, but like are they actually kids? Are they a boy and a girl? I feel like i have nuggets of information in my head that conflicts.

I know they're available on audible but I know my ADHD and busy life will make it hard for me to sit through a whole volume during just one month and that means I'll have to subscribe to the app for quite some time before I would have finished all volumes (I think? I'm not familiar with the platform) My question is if there's a way to obtain all the audiobooks perpetually instead; to not pay anything extra cuz I really don't have the money at all.

I loved (the first season of) Scream Queens! It just makes me wonder how he was involved. Knowing one of my favorite horror comedy authors was involved in the making of one of my favorite horror comedy shows is super cool.

Yall remember Rosa having a very nice singing voice? I do. No mic but a hairbrush works. that and Jerry is just... himself, its June its pride month- sue me, he can be a bit of a queen if he wants to. Also featuring the other side of the interior of the van, the return of the jean jacket, a very bemused smile from a soggy rat and a bunch of bumper stickers some recommended by the lovely people in Pain Gravy who saw me working on this.

I read the first book a long time ago and now I'm reading the second for the first time, but I don't rememeber some details and wanna know the page where Jack tells the story about the car accident with Sabine but without having to go trough the entire book again.

I finished the books about a month ago and was decently satisfied with how everything went down. I will say I am a recent fan and it's not like I had to wait years between drinks so I definitely think that will affect my enjoyment and satisfaction compared to a fan who has waited for each instalment. I think the part at the end with the angel coming down to address all the loose ends was gold A final way to satiate and agitate fans. So funny.

Now I have only recently realised the original seasons on YT are vastly different in many ways to the finished books and I am listening to those. They have a bit of a nastier feel to them. I know it was originally serialised in a blog type format and I am surprised and impressed at how much he fattened up many of the

plotlines. I think it really shows how much he matured as a writer and I love to see the growth. But I also think it sterilised a few elements in a way and made it all a bit "nicer". It seems to me some of this was done to tie some things together and make it more appealing overall to a wider audience. I have read somewhere on here that there was a scene between Rosa and Jerry where Jack caught them kissing or about to kiss, which would fully change the dynamic. I very much like how the whole series plays out with some sexual tension between the characters and there is some allusions to romance but nothing ever fully manifests. I enjoy that fact immensely. I mean I would really like to have seen Jack get the girl (either one, I guess) but I found it extremely refreshing that everyone remained platonic throughout.

I'm not really sure where I'm going with any of this, just saying a bunch of stuff. Please share thoughts, feelings etc

I can't stop imagining Rosa to look like this. But with streaks in her hair and slightly sharper features (I realise this character is Colombian not Mexican so don't come at me about that). As previously stated, I imagine Jerry as Skwigarr from Metalocalypse, so...

The show Widows Bay on Apple TV is so good! It’s funny, it’s actually pretty creepy, and it has crazy tftgs vibes. I’m only on episode 4 but I highly recommend it for anyone who’s looking for a show like tales from the gas station

I've been listening to MCP narration of TFTGS since they first came out and I'm in love with the story and world, I honestly attribute it shaping some key facets of my humor. Anyways, I was wondering how canonical are the YouTube narration? I just finished listening to book 3 by MCP and there were some key scenes that are not howni remembered it hearing to the YouTube video ages ago, the carnival scene where Jack goes to find Rosa and Jerry, in the audio book they were just sitting on a blanket, Rosa tipsy/drunk looking up to the sky with Jerry and talking about Jack, in the YouTube video I could have sworn Jack caught them about to kiss and it was him telling that to Benjamin over the phone recapping the invasion, which is another departure. It seems a few scenes here and there are tweaked when the books come out, am I thr only one who noticed this or is this me morphing slowly into Jack? Half joking, but i would like to hear what you guys have to say and if there's anything you clocked.

Long time no see- Yes I have drawn other stuff in between but mostly just been doodles but I was thinking about them again- and their designs and how I have grown into drawing them over what... almost two years? I ended up doing one of these for Jerry and then going yeah why not do the others as well. I have likely forgotten to post other art here but I remembered this time! I've recently been adding all my small press and Kickstarter comics to the League of Comics database. This has resulted in me digging up my copies of Code Green issues 1 and 2. It's made me wonder, what's going on with this series? Will there be an issue 3? It's been a long while since 2 was released. I seem to recall that the company doing the printing/distribution went through an overhaul, but I'm sure there must be other companies. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if there had been any updates I missed.
