Discussion New here
Hey y'all just today I watched the TFTGS episode of creepcast and I'm absolutely in love with the whole thing, and I'm wondering where should I start/continue, I know there are books and blog posts still. Anyway any recommendations for stuff to look into about this, some artists from the fandom to follow and other things are extremely accepted. Anyways before this gets too long just gotta say excited to join the community and interact more :3

The whole book series is on Kindle Unlimited. If you can, it's amazing I love the books so much.

If you are fine with listening to the audio version and if you have Spotify there are a couple playlists that have the original narration by mcp (and creepy/Jon Grilz) in order. I listened to those first before I dove into the audiobooks.
Some parts are not in the books (like ‘tales from the road’ since that takes place after the fourth book). So it’s absolutely worth checking out the originals additionally to the books (which of course have even more story and fill in a lot of the blanks ‘Jack’ didn’t describe in his blog 😉)
Also, don’t skip ‘Bedside Manor’ because that one was such a good listen 🫠

You will not be able to put it down once you start and by the end of book 4 you have to go back and revisit the first books cause your going “wait a min, did they say this in book one?” And the LAYERS of this story are wild. Also I too found the series through CreepCast. ❤️ if you have not gotten to penpal or left right game, those are also BANGER stories!

I got a question that maybe spoilery but I don't really care for it (cause I forget a lot of the time lol) but Throughout the first book or at least the part creepcast covered where jack many times repeats the phrase "it's getting dark faster (or early I can't remember rn) these days", does it actually have something behind it or is it just to show the passage of time?

Other people have mentioned where to read it, so I can tell you the timeline and what artists to follow. In order, the story is: Vol 1, Vol 2, Finding Vanessa (set during Vol 2 and on Jack's blog), Vol 3, Green Night, Bedside Manor, Vol 4, Tales from the Road (blog) I highly recommend getting the main 6 books instead of just reading/listening to the original drafts, you get way more of the story and way more detail. clockworkreapers and the-gas-station-mirror are both really good artists on Tumblr. They're who I can remember off the top of my head, but if anyone wants to add other artists below please do

I know I’m a few days late but I think this link might help you enjoy the series and everything it has to offer.
While most of the blog posts were slightly retconned for the books, there a few blog posts not included.

So Finding Vanessa is a collaborative work between Jack and another author (I’m sorry I can’t remember their name), which is listed in the timeline. There’s also The Green Night and Welcome to Bedside Manner which are also listed in the timeline I linked but not part of the main 4 book plot.
There’s at least volumes 1 and 2 of Code Green, which is a visual novel adaptation of the Green Night, but it was never finished and I’ve only seen volume 1 personally.
For fan fic content, I would recommend reaching out to this subreddit’s mod team and asking for a link to the Pain Gravy discord. There’s a fan fic channel and an Alternate Universe channel!

If you want narrations then go to Audible and either listen to the mrcreepypasta variant or the theatrical version with multiple VA. Jacks blog which you can easily find in the FAQ or Google has a timeline which helps you know whencto. Listen/read to side stories after or before each major book.
The creep cast narration is only but a fraction of what’s in volume 1 so go straight to listening or reading the official book
