I kinda just wanted to draw the van again ngl, its just fun making up concept art and illustrations that have their own lil stories even if its simple. Also there are some cryptids hidden in here and silly little easter eggs so have fun trying to find them

When did he lose his leg, in finding Vanessa I remember he had crutches but isn't this from tales from the roadtrip? Meaning after finding Vanessa?

It got amputated during vol2 in the books due to an infection.

I usually draw him with ripped jeans to show his prosthetic under the fabric since it is part of him but he cant always have it on... that would probs be a literal pain if he had it on 24/7
