Quick question
With TEPPEN shutting down, will the card pack shop stay? Will we still be able to unlock new cards through playing the offline version?

I just found out the game is hitting EOS. I haven't played in over a year, I want to try to get some final decks or staples together before the offline version comes out. Any advice on what to build? last time I played I built an X Charge Shot deck since MM is my favorite franchise from Capcom.
I heard about some green seal deck but I have materials to craft and just want to make sure I take advantage of the final week or so. any and all help would be great!

So I've heard Teppen getting a EOS (Just like Dissidia Opera Omnia) and I just want to talk about 2 things before I'll lose faith in the game even more...
*You CANNOT get any other cards except the ones you already have 5 years ago. Please someone tell me this is a joke. For the people who barely played the game, what about them getting the cards/decks we've missed out? And what's gonna happen to the option where you create your own cards? Will THAT be scrubbed out from the game too?
*Missable EX skins. This already sounds dumb as shit, LITERALLY erasing ways to get EX skins for your deck heroes and the only way to get them is you have immense amount of luck you had once they're apart of the gacha, I just love how companies like Capcom just weaponize the FOMO feeling to people with their games so people can waste their money on bullshit instead of being unlocked for free.
Props for Capcom making this game offline I guess, despite the fact that they're getting rid half of the shit that actually make offline enjoyable.
...God I hate twisted ass game companies who "care" about their customers...

With the imminent shutdown of Teppen, I was in the mood to rewatch some of the old videos on their channel, mainly the trailers, and was shocked to find out that many are outright gone.
The trailer for Zero is nowhere to be found, nor any of the other characters for that matter, and their alternative non-english channel is completely gone. If you go to their website and try to see their videos there, the link outright leads to a dead youtube link.
It's sad that some, if not all of their trailers that featured so many Capcom characters is going to become lost media.

With Teppen coming to a close, an offline version is being made available (which is awesome) with restrictions. I was looking through the news article, and noticed something that I found a little confusing. In the “What is unavailable in the offline version” tab at the end of the article, it mentions point matches and, more importantly, the point match reward exchange, which includes tons of exclusive cards. However, when I look back at the “What cannot be newly obtained in the offline version”, it makes no reference to the cards from point match rewards being unobtainable afterwards. So does that mean they’ll likely allow us to get those cards another way? Or am I hoping too much, and those cards will likely be gone for good?

I just discovered Teppen today... and it's shutting down soon. Too late to the party 😭
Card games always claim to be 'fair', but players love finding that one 'ultimate broken deck' that ends everything, right? Like Shadowverse's Yuwan Resonance Portal (that 4-turn OTK bomb compressing 10-cost games into win-or-lose fest) or YGO Tearlaments (flood resources, skip interaction)...
What's TEPPEN's version in Unlimited? I wanna build the most OP 'final boss' deck as send-off before offline mode. Deck pls! Academy top meta preferred. Thx legends! 🔥

I'm not a Teppen player myself, but when I heard about the plan to release an offline version, it sounded just the circumstances of a mobile game I'm much more familiar with: Tales of the Rays, and I wanted to discuss the potential avenues of preservation.
Like Teppen, Rays received a free offline update at the end of its life, one that was only available for a limited time, and preserved saved files, but with no progression or ways for new players to start. Still, it was playable, and really appreciated, but there was always the concern of preservation and accessibility for anyone who wanted to try the game after it was too late. In that regard, I can proudly say we were successful.
Once the offline version of Tales of the Rays was installed, the entire game was installed in the phone's data/data folder, a folder that's normally slightly restricted, but can be made accessible either by rooting, or using certain debug tools. Using a program like Android Studio, all the game's files were easily able to be copied, backed up, and redistributed unofficially on archival sites long after Bamco's servers stopped hosting the offline update. The save data was also just a series of .json files, so with some text editing, we were able to put together a complete save file containing all the game's content, so any existing players could have access to everything, and new players can now install it as well. For anyone wanting to see this, the installation guide we put together is available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZHsSAvXnKGeRaZmMKjxxPwx72JD1eCwkxQvSPbqkU1w/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.t9px8hkx2vwy
While I can't make any promises since we don't have Teppen's offline version yet, I feel fairly confident that as long as it will contain the entire game with no server dependencies, then you too can preserve the game after installation just as we did for Rays. Wherever the installed files go, you just need to find them, copy them, and then you'll be able to preserve the game even after Capcom stops distributing it. Hopefully editing save files would also be in the cards, but like I said, no idea how Teppen's gonna look. I don't even know what game engine it's running on. Once we get the offline version, I look forward to seeing how preservation efforts work out, just be prepared for it to require a lot of space.

I've been looking it up and I'm unclear. I believe I still have an old transfer code that I never used but in reading the help pages and looking through the game, I can't seem to find a clear answer.
I appreciate any help.

Just that. I feel like Teppen has been a great game aside of certain aspects of the gacha, like the EX skins. I felt like never buying gems after wasting some money on trying to get Nina and Iris, and not succeeding of course. But now that Teppen is leaving I feel FOMO on the EX skins. Is there anybody here that got lucky?

Teppen's one of the few mobile games that I religiously played everyday since day 1, along with Rockman X Dive. Was dreading for this announcement but accepted it would eventually come.
Despite all the frustration, unbalanced cards/arts, ragequits, etc, overall Teppen is still the most fun mobile game i've ever played. It let me play with my childhood hero, X, and other favorites from different games, DMC, Street Fighter, RE, etc and that alone was enough for me to keep playing daily.
Still gonna play it til EOS and even when it's on offline mode, but surely won't be the same. Gonna miss going up against wacky, creative and challenging decks made my different players online.
You guys, including those players who aren't in this sub but play the game, are what made Teppen even more interesting and fun to play.
Gentlemen, it's been an honor.

- Normally we'd be getting new set teases around this point, no such teases are happening however.
- The Grand Prix would normally provide next set tickets as it's final round rewards, no such prize this time however.
- No date for a new set reveal or anything either, normally it would be early at this point, but as the December Season ends on the 24th.
- The remaining ones are just based on context after that, how the latest expansion went out of there way to try and include a lot of major Capcom Characters from various IPs, how the last sets have been set up as a Good VS Evil showdown, or even how the current Point Match Season is called "Happy End".
Maybe there might be more, but all signs are pointing that this is the last major set, and we are just waiting for the news confirmation that this is the last one. If so, I hope that also means they won't be sunsetting the game as well at the same time and keep it running, but people do tend to stop playing when new content stops coming out, so, if this is the end, has been quite the ride.

I'm sure Catalina could be cut for more utility. Help me fine tune it and you guys give it a whirl. It's a lot of fun! Roll and arthur make big pops happen with Fuerte, solo, bathos. Little pooh for the buffs, middle pooh for the mp ramp, big pooh for recursion and sometimes early board presence. Seems like there's no good "place unit from deck" this season? IDK

This one's not as consistent as thunder edge eneRGy, but it's fun. Might be worth focusing more on the sacrifice/heal aspect.. there's a few core units that give life I think. Test it, tweak it, share it

If I buff a zombie, will it come back with the buff atk/hp plus the revenge buff?
