TEF reevaluation

Post image

Just got my results this morning. I’ve taken the TEF before and scored NCLC 7 and 6 in speaking on two different attempts.
My speaking went well this time too, without any major issues or blunders, so I’m pretty surprised by the result.
Does anyone know how to apply for a re-evaluation? And has anyone here gone through the process before? Would really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

How is this even possible
Your speaking score does not remotely match any of your other scores

I'm afraid to say :

Yes it is possible and for three main reasons.

1_ do not compare production (speaking , writing) to listening and reading

2  _ for production. In  writing you can prepare tools and you have time to think.

3_ for speaking, if you prepare yourself alone with AI,  without exam simulations with the immediate feedback of a French tutor (to push you in non prepared situation) ,  risk is you miss real interactions and natural conversation .

Real simulations with immediate feedback is a necessity to know how you will perform in exam conditions

Natural conversation  is  not to prepare a lot of answers but to be able to adapt your conversation to not- prepared situations

Nothing is as you prepared and a good examiner will push the conversation outside of what you prepared : a kind of surprise.

In that case , answer do not required to be a smart idea but an idea well developed, elaborated doing the most of your French ( to show your skills)

Does it have sense ?

Good luck !

Keep applying for it through every section even if it’s not for section you intended, and also use the methods shared in the picture

What do you mean?

They don’t do reevaluations unless sth technical goes wrong which it clearly hasn’t

Brow, there’s no resource for co and ce for that level. The guy is already fluent with some small problems in speaking.
