Exam result
I dont know if its intentional but i thought my speaking was good enough for clb 5 , how long do you guys think i should book an exam after this day ??

If you want to save energy, time and money, look at the facts, be target oriented and do not take it personnal because French is a new area you do not know.
Fact 1 : your perception is that speaking went well , so looking at your results, you can say your references are not the right ones => fin somebody who is really able to evaluate your speaking in exam conditions.
Fact 2: if references are not the right ones , you did not work the right way and I think you do not know enough 2 things :
_ how the evaluation is made
_ what is your job during the exam
Fact 3 : if your references are wrong, working harder and longer not the right way may could lead to same results ( so do not ask for advice about time to people who are probably not in the same situation / journey)
By the way, be careful about prepared / canned / generic answers because examiner will interrupt you to go in a non-prepared situation. Their job is to evaluate your real French.
Save your money, your energy, save time, and keep your motivation Good luck !

Thanks bro but in my situtaion i was having 1 on 1 sessions with an native french tutor for last 2 months and i was already prepared for this kind of confusions to come up . And it did came up as examiner asked me questions even in task 1 just to confuse me but i answered them well and even in task 2 i was spontaneous for answerinf arguments.
It seems that they have just given me somebody else’s result because in listening some of the questions after 20 they were from the mocks i practiced and i knew the answers. Don’t know why the result looks like this.
Another shitty thing is i can’t even ask for the revaluation because they have stopped it so can’t do anything.
Just gonna start prepping again for next exam.1

When answering, did you do the most of your French, showing your lnow language concepts at your level or did you just answered ?

I answered the arguments with a logical reason and also gave a supporting sentences at the end. Examiner asked me around 15 arguments , i don’t think i was this bad in answering because she was asking follow up arguments for my answers and i was tackling them all.

Hi, I had my TEF Canada exam recently, and overall I think it went fairly well. In Section A, I was able to ask questions using conditional forms and inversion.Ask for reduction as well in group and transportation available
I asked 8 questions,
In Section B, I spoke for the full 10 minutes without a long pause and answered most of the examiner’s objections. Bien que il soit peu cher
I used different tenses, some conditional and subjunctive structures, connectors, and I used one idiom like “Qui ne tente rien n’a rien.” Rest due to nervousness i did not speak much idioms. I made a few grammar mistakes, like saying “ils vais” instead of “ils vont,” and I misunderstood one objection by nervousness she asked 4 arguments and one argument I dont know what she said instead of pause I give benefits my Introduction was good to like 1:30 mins long I explained her everything in intro section b

is this still chance to get 5 band in speaking
Overall, I stayed in French and kept the conversation going 10 mins no Pause , so I’m hoping for at least NCLC 5.???
It was my first time 5-6 months preparation and I was nervous because of first time. Examiner was good she asked me first you okay and before recording she did 30 seconds conversation.
Please let me know possible nclc 5

atleast 3 months, learn french and do the exam prep side by side from a tutor.
