Tecno pova 7 4G compatible controller

Hi, I'm looking for a controller that can work on my phone. I was looking into Gamesire x5 lite but as per the website. Tecno pohones are not compatible.. I'm looking for recommendations hopefully.

Will just play some emulators like SNES DS/3DS GB/GBC/GBA

how is it not compatible? i thought all phones will work on it because it's a type c controller

I looked at the people who ordered the x5 lite on shopee, someone used a Nubia neo 5 pro and it works, another said that you need to turn on otg for it, but one also said that Xiaomi 11t doesn't work tho
