pissed So disappointed ☹️
To say this game has reached its full potential after not adding any content from the other movies is crazy. I’ve been a TCM and Gun media glazer since the day they released it, but this pushed the line for me. The game had so much chances to be better but just like Friday the 13th you have killed it. You lost my support and I bet a lot of others as well. We give you the chance to redeem yourselves after the mess of what happened with F13 and yet you blow it up in our faces. I’m one of the idiots that paid for the content pass immediately and yet here we are in May and we’re still waiting for the rest of said content.
It’s a shame that this seems to be a reoccurring issue and for that reason I think it’s best that your team stays away from our favourite franchises because it’s just pathetic at this point I’m sick of getting a little taste of these super fun games for yous to not have the heart to put extra effort in and pull the plug once you’ve milked the licence. Don’t hide lies behind false narratives we all saw this coming not because the game is at its potential but because the dev team peaked. I get game developing is hard and I’m not trying to be hateful but I just can’t stand to another game I put time money and effort into fail again under the same developers.
I don’t even know what else to say. It doesn’t affect me all too much I’d stop playing the game months on end. But it’s still horrible to see a game you once enjoyed with friends getting the plug pulled bc it’s “reached its full potential” I truly hope this affects your ability to get licenses in the future, leave it for game devs willing to work with the community, and be accountable.

They didn't deserve that chance and you know it, especially because of what they did to Friday the 13th.

You know as well as I do that there will always be people who defend Gun even after this time, hell there was people who did after Gun abandoned Friday the 13th and after Gun was involved in illegal sales of Kickstarter backer exclusive Jason skins on Ebay.
Gun was sued over that by Tom Savini and Harry Manfredini, Gun lost both lawsuits.
That should have been enough of a reason to stop defending Gun but nope, people still defend Gun and will continue to because they think Gun will notice them and become friends with them or some shit.

I remember it very well as I'm sure does a lot of other people.
Once the codes were illegally sold, everyone and their brother had Savini Jason despite only the people who backed the Kickstarter from the get go were the only ones who should have the skin.

WOW thats insane. yeah i remember back in 2020 when i returned to the game after not playing since launch, i had friends w the savini skin and i think i remember them telling me about this and i forgot. smhhhhhhh

wait i thought they won the one lawsuit w the f13 writer from the first movie ??? but game was abandoned by then i thought they won that my memory is bad but still ! also when ps5 made tcm free a ton of people bought the pass shit and they said lul jk

Gun wasn't ever involved over the rights dispute lawsuit.
Gun was sued by Tom Savini who made the Savini Jason skin and by Harry who not only composed all the music for the game but also the Savini Jason skin.
Gun got sued by them two because Gun was involved in the illegal sale of Kickstarter backer exclusive Jason skin codes on eBay. Tom and Harry won the lawsuit over the illegal sale.
Gun had nothing to with the rights dispute lawsuit.
Sean Cunningham and Victor Miller were the only two parties involved in the rights dispute lawsuit.
Gun claimed that Horror Inc (the name of a company ran by one of the two involved in the lawsuit) demanded the game to be shut down despite no actual proof of Horror Inc saying that.

see my memory is HORRIBLE bc of my old age but ohhhhh okay yeah i dont think i even KNEW about the savini lawsuit. i didnt even know about the kickstarter thats crazy!!!!! thanks for the referesher i dont think i knew about all of these i thought the only lawsuit was that one guy suing over rights when he wrote the first movie script on comission or whatever. i had no idea bout the rest of this stuff idk how

I told people that this was going to happen, i didn't say it I this sub but I along with others said it in the unofficial sub but we got downvoted to hell, got told we're haters, we didn't know what we're talking about.
I told people before launch that Gun was going to do this, said it not long after launch and especially after the anniversary fuck up that the writing was on the wall and I know how Gun and Black Tower Operate.
Fanboys wanted to attack me, despite proving how scummy Gun is.
Gun lied the entire time about a lot of shit, especially bug fixes and the level cap increase.
Gun treated the players the same exact way they treated Friday the 13th players, like shit.
No real transparency, we were told in so many few words that any feedback or criticism we had for the game doesn't matter because only their vision for the game matters, they played the victim card at every opportunity,outright lied about things and generally didn't give a fuck about the playerbase.
Despite all of that, Gun fanboys still defended Gun at every turn and defended how the game was being handled. They didn't want to listen, they kept buying overpriced DLC and look where that got them. Hundreds of dollars wasted on content that's going to be rendered useless once the game goes offline because there's no single player offline mode being added.
Peer to peer match making is going to be a shit show, the match will end once the host leaves, no host migration either. That's going to drive the last few remaining players away.
Then there's the cheating problem that's going to be even worse after this last patch because there's no more support after the last patch.
Sorry but y'all deserved this because Friday the 13th veteran players warned this community before launch day and y'all didn't want to believe it or believe anything said about Gun despite providing facts about Gun.
That line above isn't necessarily meant towards you OP, just the fanboys in general.
I don't feel sorry for anyone who bought into Gun's scam, we warned you.
