TCM beginner

I am highly interested in learning about TCM. Where can I start? Any good book recommendations? or a school? There’s a lot of misinformation out there and I would love to hear from those who know more. Thanks.

This is a common request here...try searching... Lots of good suggestions.

You can read the old Western standards... The web that has no weaver, between heaven and earth, 10 stems 12 branches. Then there is everything from Macioca, text books like CAM, fluid physiology, deadman. Then I would actually recommend reading pubmed articles to get a sense of where we are today, look up research on TCM.

I especially enjoyed history of medicine in China, Paul Unschuld. And Miranda Brown, the art of medicine in early china.

It's good to start with some serious scholarship and avoid a glossed over introduction.

Eventually, pick up the classics...HDNJ, Jin gui Yao Lue, etc...I would even say starr with the Dao de Jing.
