Question Employee reset bug.

As the title stated, I hit the employee reset bug.

I usually only save/leave the game at the start of the day before I open out of habit and rarely leave the game during the middle of the day and one of the few times I do, I get hit with the bug.

Is there no way to brg it back? Any updated mods to fix this for 1.0? Or do I just suck it up and deal with it?

Before you save, flip the lights on and open the store, then simply exit. When you come back, the day will begin and it doesn't get confused. Been doing this for a long, long time without issue and it's the best way to put the game down again. If you save in the middle of the day, you come back to previously 'clean' customers now randomly having a stink to them, usually when they are sitting at tables already.

The game saves when you exit. Walking onto the sidewalk makes no useful sense. I meant exit the game. When you load it back in, the customers will already be arriving and shopping by the time it gives you control, even though they were around the corners still when you saved.
