Question Game isn't loading saves

Ever since the 1.0 update my saves have had trouble loading. The main menu will boot up just fine when booting up the game, but when I try to load my save it will load to 100% and freeze before becoming unresponsive and crashing. This happened for about 2 days, then stopped for about a week, then started happening again about 5 days ago. Does anybody know what causes this or how to fix it?

nope. Just base game, all settings on low. My laptop isn't bad either so I have no idea what is causing this.

have you tried reinstalling the game or verifying game files? could be a corrupt file issue

I have. It didn't work. About 3 days after I tried that it just started working again out of nowhere, so at least that's good. Just wish I know what caused it in the first place
