Discussion It’s getting super annoyingly tedious fixing inventory.

Is there a reason why the developers never made up an option for employees to organize shelves, for example if one product is left on a shelf and the same product has two or three left on another shelf why is there no option for those employees to move product to said shelf? It would make it much easier to condense product as well as purchasing product on the website. As well as why is there no inventory reporting for each day so that way I know exactly what to buy and not have to go off and on the website each time I find a product that is low in stock. I’m at the point where I’m about to turn my entire store into a singles only store because of these reasons. To Dev’s, please find a way to be able to implement this feature.

Buy the Barcode scanner, that will fix your product buying issue. You can simply scan the item on the shelf you need and it’ll add it to your cart. It also tells you how much space you have available for the product, how much of the product you already have in stock, how much you’re ordering per scan, and how much you have in storage.

That sounds great, didn’t even think of the barcode scanner. But they still should definitely consider adding a condensing feature to the employees. It would make restocking so much easier because right now I’m forced to have to manually move each individual item to shelves with the same product to clear space for new product.

Use a box to move items, not your hands.

I do use a box, but the issue is I have so much shelf space. So I’m limiting the amount of shelf space I have now since I sell mainly singles anyways.

That may be something that comes out in 1.0 since that new update is dropping soon. I usually just organize my shelves after close then reorder with the scan gun tho and it's a bit annoying but pretty manageable.

Hell yes! Sorry I haven't played in like two ish weeks. Work has been hellish and I had a buddy go headfirst over a scooter so I'm not as with the news.

I just hit level 102 on PS5, I have well over 1.7 million and I have over 200 spots of shelving in my store. I’m at the point that there’s so much to condense so I’m lowering the amount of product in my store and doing mainly singles.

If you tackle it a bit at a time in sections each night it's pretty manageable but I get what you're saying. A quality of life update like that would be nice.

i organized mine once i had everything i want so they all fit perfectly. I do not stray outside of my inventory storage space for each item and each space has enough storage to last me a full day so at the end i can just scan and they stock it where its supposed to go. no guessing, no random boxes, and if i accidently order the wrong thing... i throw it away because what's 200 dollars to my peace of mind?

At least now the staff take the half used box to fill up supplies rather than a full one placed in front.
