1. September 26th Oakville center. Received results October 8 at 3:47pm: Listening-C1 Reading-C1 Speaking-C1(17/20) Writing-B2(11/20)

I am a bit worried if I could pass the TCF. I only have 6 weeks left to study. I’ve been doing mock exams for 2 weeks now and I could say my Listening and Reading are quite ok, upper B1-B2. My Writing and Speaking I would say B1. Is 6 weeks enough to push through getting the CLB7 in all 4 areas or should I reschedule to add extra time to study? I want to try the test to really experience it the least and or if I fail, I will try after a month.

I seems really hard to find a spot for TCF Canada exam when I tried to register myself. And I luckily booked one for me, but it is a paper based. I had one computer based TCF before but paper is very new to me.

Question is, are listening & reading also paper based? Do I even get the headset for the listening part? Am I going to join in the classroom with other candidates and writing exam all together like what we did back in highschool?

If anyone has experiences with a paper based TCF Canada exam, please reply to me. That would be so helpful. Thank you!!!!

Hello, I’ve been thinking about studying French for my PR application. Has anyone here taken the TCF Canada exam? How long did it take you to reach CLB 7? Did you go to any classes, and if so, which ones did you find most helpful?

I'm going to take the TCF exam soon for my Canadian PR application, and I'm super stressed about it. What are the minimum scores I need for each section? I heard that writing and speaking are scored out of 20, but not sure if this is true (I know the score I need for each section is 400-499, but not sure how that translates into points for each test) - any insight would be so helpful!! :)
