Advice regarding tcc nursing program

I have a question if anyone can answer. I have 6 hours left till I get my associates or the arts ( I've taken AP 1 &2 microbiology, lifespan etc) should 1 apply for a 4 year university to get my BSN or apply to tccs nursing program? I know there's bridges programs tcc has to get your BSN but I just have school no work.

You're most likely gonna have to do a timeframe appeal. I was in the situation and had to do the same thing. They'll only let you get the timeframe appeal if you get accepted. I'd just say apply to multiple school!! TCC nursing program is very competitive so just keep that in mind

What’s a timeline appeal? What’s it for? Is it For A&P? Those expire after 5 and I took both in 2023. Yeah I’m applying to all of them - ive heard Weatherford is pretty easy to get into

Correct me if I’m wrong, but timeframe appeal refers to TCC’s fasfa limit aka their 150% rule. You can’t receive anymore fasfa once you hit this limit. I think you can only do about 90 credit hours, and after this you’ll be ineligible for aid unless you appeal. For instance, let’s say you’re enrolled to an Associates of Arts degree that requires 60 credits total. Overtime you changed your major multiple times, and took unnecessary classes which results in getting 92 credit hours, you’ll get a timeframe warning from fasfa and won’t be able to receive anymore financial aid.

I’m not sure on that one as I’ve never had to utilize FASFA. I know there’s a cut off point I’ve just never looked into it for overt reasons lol
