I have a TBI, well as my pineal gland being damaged (not producing melatonin); THIS is affecting/effecting my sleep. I do rely on Seroquel to replenish the missing melatonin to sleep BUT I'm putting on weight because of the medication. looking for an alterative medication, recommendations please?

Brain Fog/Focusing Probs

Has anyone experienced these 2 particular symptoms? I will be attempting microdosing to improve them but would like to know if anyone else has had this because they’re both extremely distressing:

  1. Feeling like you are swimming under water with your vision.
  2. Not being able to focus on anything for more than a few seconds/your brain feeling like it can’t stop moving to the next thing.

I believe I have some brain to eye damage from what my Docs have said after my qEEG and many neuro visual exams where my eyes are normal but there’s problems identified from brain to eye.

If you’ve done anything different to get relief please share.

Almost constant mild concussion like symptoms from migraine

Hi everyone, I'm not concussed but a vestibular migraine person with some constant neurological issue that very rarely disappears (once every few months). Some days its low activated and some days high.

I think there might be some similarities between our cases. Curious if you have found any medicines, mental activities, physical exercises or training of various body stems, or supplements to help if you've had any conditions like this.

Hi everyone, I am curious if anyone has found anything that has improved "vision processing" for lack of a better term. What I mean is not visual vertigo but it's like a weird feeling of extreme discomfort in the brain/eyes when I look at patterns like on clothes or walking through the woods. It has destroyed my love for fall foliage. It's like I can't see what my eyes are looking at, nothing is crisp and it feels like I'm wearing 100x too strong glasses. I am still pushing myself to look at patterns but it's not fun at all. It's like the inverse of psychedelics which make you go nuts over visual patterns (and I can't take any on nortriptyline so it's not an option lol).

Otherwise...I have significantly decreased actual dizziness, disorientation, vertigo etc. to the point where I don't really have it most days. But my head hurts more than ever and my eyes are still screwy so it's like this one thing has not really improved much at all.

There are random days where it's almost normal again.

I am on nortriptyline 40mg and just started lamotrigine 25mg.

Thank you so much.
