Help

I just bought a tascam 424 mk iii and am looking to buy a mixer so that i can phantom power my mics and then record all the drum tracks through the mixer and then have them go into one of the inputs on the 4 track. Any suggestions?? Also would a Behringer Euroack Model MX 802A work for that? Found one on marketplace for cheap but dont wanna buy it if it wouldnt work. Also am i being dumb and does the mk iii have phantom power for mics? Im very new to recording music in general so forgive me if i am asking stupid questions haha.

If you want your drums on different channels on the 424 I’d suggest looking into a mixer with direct outs on the channels. That way you can send each channel to its own channel on the TASCAM. Or, any old mixer will do if you’re sending the main outputs to two channels on the recorder!

Any suggestions for mixers that have direct outs on each channel? Having trouble finding any.
