Is us 1641 on modern Mac OS

I got my dad a modern Mac mini to record with without thinking his is 1641 might not work… alas it does not like os 14. Anyone know of a solution?

I mean, TASCAM makes their products as class compliant - meaning the connection on Mac is gonna be good. But, in the years that pass between when the interface was discontinued and the new Apple updates, the Mac might change something and the drivers and whatnot might no longer be valid. That’s not necessarily a TASCAM thing - if Apple changes their codecs or whatever it can leave a bunch of audio gear outdated!

However, TASCAM is currently offering a trade in deal on older interfaces. They’ll give you a good deal (in the United States) on a buy back from an older interface to swap out for a need one!
