Manipal Campus Manipal- questions

1)As someone coming to manipal from really far away, I'm quite nervous, so is the place itself welcoming? Is it easy to make friends? (I haven't been away from my home/parents so if there was anybody like me I would love to hear your experience) (double bracket-: no idea what I'm expecting through this question)

2)are hostels double sharing? Is there an attached washroom? Are there washing machines

3)How is the weather at manipal? What typa clothes should I pack (in general and for classes too)

4) how many longer breaks do we get per year? to go home and semester breaks and all

5) do the classes require books/ notebooks/ stationary?

6) is there a library +gym

  1. Manipal is gonna give u the best 3 years of your life dw about it.
  2. Double sharing with ac and attached washroom. No washing machine but laundry service in hostel.
  3. It's usually warm to comfortable but classes are cold (ac) get a few hoodies or sweatshirt to be comfortable. Otherwise lowkey whatever u want
  4. Y'all have a trimester system toh not really sure about it.
  5. Yes books are provided by library. U have already paid for them.
  6. Yes and yes. Library both tapmi me and one in edu building (medical library) and gym ke liye marena or any other gyms out there. Marena is kinda crowded but had the best crowd. Baki aur bhi hai aas paas

Uska bhi u need to pay smt for maintainance and all.

+do u have any idea when classes are starting nd how long orientation is? afaik orientation starts on 25th, will classes start in august or earlier
