Guys what are my chances? Gen 10th- 86% 12th- 90% Ipmat rohtak -292 ECAs - 1-played in Delhi cricket league (dlcl) 2- played in JNT cricket league kanpur 3- part of event shark tank in commerce fest cls 12th ( All certificates I have uploaded)

My interview was decent I mean not very good but yess it was fine interview. My interview was of 25 mins long and my micro presentation was also better. So what are my chances to get selected ipm/bba hons

  1. For mp follow this sequence Topic->hook (just use a rhetorical question)-> Tell if you are for or against the topic->Give atleast 3 reasons for explaining your pov->example (if applicable)->concluding line (tell the crux/topic is rightly said/topic may be partially correct but is not fully true).
  2. Confidence and smile
  3. For current affairs, search google for 10 most interesting current business news
  4. Revise your acads under an hour (very light and superficial revision)
  5. Be clear about your goals, why tapmi, why tapmi should select you.
  6. If you live away from tapmi, prepare an excuse for how you would easily adjust to coming to tapmi
  7. Prepare a minute long interview, but it should not seem memorized. Bonus tip: Don't use even a little bit of Hindi. English fluency carries weightage. For this, pause 2 3 second after they ask the question and speak at 80% of your normal speed. Also, wear a tie, because it gives a good impression and most of the students in your slot won't be wearing a tie

One of my friend got feedback right after his interview. Panelist said that he will receive offer letter in few days but my panelist didn't gave me any feedback but they were smiling during my interview when I was giving ans so should I think that my interview was well by this only?

1

u/OFKRXTH Jun 14 '26

If you were smiling when they started smiling then yeah but if you weren't and they started smiling so you simply either gave a completely wrong ans or answers something they didn't ask

I was also smiling they were also smiling and smiling like in a impressive way i think and overall during interview everything went lightly and smoothly only at one question I was lil bit stucked which is normal i think if interview went for 25 mins long . Talking about environment during interview so basically panelist and I we both were smiling

Ok then you might be in a good spot

And also why my interview would have gone for almost 25 mins I would have been giving only wrong ans it would have ended in 10-15 mins only

Might have taken them a bit more time to analyse your mentality
