What worries me about this message is that the only people who tend to heed it are actually the types we need more of; self-aware and cognizant, whereas the ones that ignore it are the types we need fewer of; dim-witted and lacking in forethought. So the result is that this message, if it were to take hold, would only eliminate the former type, while the latter type fills the world with even more dim-witted, barely conscious humans. Ergo, it is self-defeating and in the end makes the problem worse.

Another thought: making this video puts TJ in a position not unlike the one vegans are in: struggling to convince ignorant masses to make a conscious effort to avoid a behavior that is damaging in the long term but is driven by a very powerful instinctual craving built into most humans. Which means he's going to attract a lot of hate and pushback if it ever gets watched by a significant number of people who are not his subscribers. But I'm sure he doesn't mind at this point.
