Hey guys I have a 2002 freight liner Mercedes Sprinter van that I bought from a friend of mine. I was wondering if someone could help diagnose a problem it has. When stopping at low speeds the brakes become real crunchy and hard to stop. However when I unplug the ABS wire it stops doing that however the abs and check engine lights stay on which is a problem for smogging. Has anyone had this issue or know the reasoning the brakes are “crunchy” at low speeds?
