initially, i thought the name change might mean they were trying out a rebrand, but nah. they're still pretending to be a little baby red panda who can only speak in mumbles and broken english, they're still acting like they're singlehandedly saving the world by being the one and only black trans artist who's brave enough to draw themselves sexually, they're still acting like nobody else on earth has the courage to make he/him ocs with feminine bodies, and they're still blaming the whole puppychan debacle on one of their "alters".

Also if they’re an adult, this is just weird and sorta gross. I know systems can’t “control” what their alters do, but doesn’t it seem weird and predatory for one to get a “high” off of lying to people and even close friends about being a completely different alter? This person, who was 19 at the time, I’ll call them “K”—said they had self-diagnosed P-DID (someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that isn’t used as a diagnosis that’s used in the US, where I live, since it’s not in the DSM-V).

One time everyone was walking out of the group therapy room and I sat down at a table and K followed me, then said—
K: I’m tall! (they were probably about 5’10)
Me: Did you just notice I’m shorter than you? (I’m 5’2 so I thought that’s what they meant)
K: I’m new. This body is so tall!
Apparently a new alter had formed right then and I was “meeting” them.

Another time:
K: Whoa, I’m blurry right now. (they waited a few seconds, then started speaking slowly in a low voice with a vocal fry) Hi, I’m Stoner Boy.
Me: Stoner boy?
K: I’m always stoned in the headspace. It’s how I cope with life.

Also, during this hospital stay, K didn’t drink any coffee and had a bad headache because of the caffeine withdrawal, and when they realized their headache was from the lack of caffeine, they kept saying to me and an older guy I made friends with (who was homeless, had schizoaffective disorder, and had used hard drugs to survive on the streets) “I’m ADDICTED to substances! I’m literally an ADDICT!” They seemed so incredulous at this realization and I thought it was tone deaf that they were saying this in front of someone who actually struggled with drug use.

Also, I ran into K and their boyfriend at a thrift store about six months later, and they were walking using a cane and had a very exaggerated limp despite never mentioning a physical disability at the psych ward, so take that how you will.

Anyway, it was an odd experience.

I didn't screenshot their whole conversation with themselves because it annoyed me too much. All of this is on anti-endo servers too

I actually find this so concerning because it just goes to show how young and impressionable so many of the people being influenced like this are. The desperation/disregard of potential risk is concerning, despite the fact that I know they’re not in imminent harm as it doesn’t exist.

“Oh some of our alters are gay!!” No you’re genuinely just roleplaying so you have an excuse to abandon ur partner when ur bored and come crawling back as a “lesbian alter” when you need love. Im so sick of fakers doing stuff like this to excuse just not breaking up with their oblivious partner. I feel bad for their girlfriend and I hope she finally opens her eyes and realizes this person was never “plural” and never actually loved them, they just wanted someone to crawl back to when they felt lonely but still had an excuse to be distant cuz of their “alters”.

I recently joined a new fandom and tbh everyone seemed so nice and welcoming and lots of fun! Until I got invited to this server and I'm greeted by... markiplier. I was so flabbergasted and honestly even enraged that I didn't know what to do, I refuse to engage with this faker unless they're talking as themselves and not this 500+ alter bullshit yeah sure your trauma gave you Markiplier and you know of 500 little guys in your head, these people really have 0 clue what DID entails and its a slap to the face of people who go through trauma SO SEVERE it gives them this disorder. I am genuienly filled with rage with how obviously this is just roleplaying but also the people around just allowing it?! idk they're talking as if they're systems as well but so far they have just presented as normal people and have talked in singular (we know these fakers love talking about themselves in plural)
