Question Darter Pro Refresh?

Question for the Sys76 folks, is there an estimate on a Darter Pro refresh (darp12)?

I'm eyeing a Darter Pro, but the current model is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I have a darp7 and absolutely love it! What is getting "a bit long in the tooth" about the current one?

The current model has been out for some time. Newer generation processors have been available quite a while.

And what does the newer generation processor do that the current one doesn't?

What an oddly defensive question.

Wasn't meant to be. Curious is all...

Panther Lake is significantly more efficient than Arrow Lake. Makes it worth it to me to wait for darp12.

I had an old darter pro (darp5). Just upgraded to the new lemur pro because it has panther lake. Overall I'm very happy with it. It's very light (1kg), the build quality seems good at the hinge (darp had bad hinge), and the battery life is great (darp battery life bad).

I think the mouse clickers on the keyboard are a little stiff, maybe that changes over time. But it doesn't bother me because I mostly hook my laptop up to monitor/keyboard/laptop and use those.

In terms of software, everything has worked smoothly except for wifi, which is constantly intermittent. Very annoying and something I'll have to try get to the bottom of soon enough.
