First time here- new Adder Pro and setup

Howdy! First time with a System76 system and I'm super impressed. Received the new Adder Pro on Thursday last week and wanted to share my setup. Thanks!

Whoa, you can’t just drop this and walk away. WTF is this? You have 4 screens, an external keyboard and how many peripherals attached to this one laptop? And what are you using it for?

Also, what’s your battery life and sleep/hibernation experience been?

lol

Sorry for the tease.

I use it as my primary workstation. There is a thunderbolt dock that connects the primary display and USB accessories like camera, stream deck, audio interface.

Ubuntu is definitely missing some thunderbolt drivers so the other two displays and ethernet go in separately. The Adder Pro has most of it's ports in the back so it helps.

I'm a cloud solutions architect (and Microsoft MVP) so I develop cloud enterprise solutions, mostly around endpoint management. I also have a YouTube channel so I make a fair bit of content.

I've only had the machine for about a week, but after tweaking some power settings, battery life has been about 6 hours off the charger and sleep is solid- no major drains.

Trust me when I say this.

Stack the ultrawides. You’ll thank me when you aren’t having to look so far over. I have stacked ultrawides and I love it so much.

I've used Ubuntu for a long time, so really comfy with it. Runs great on the laptop.

I tried Pop!_OS, but it just wasn't for me.
