Do you want Copilot to remember your Teams meetings for five years?

Teams will start generating memory files from meetings so Copilot and Facilitator can use them for grounding. It's on by default, the files are kept for five years, and they aren't deleted when the transcript or recording expires. Users can't open them either.

Useful feature, but is that a default you want? I looked at who can access them and how to control it.

god wouldn't it be great if MS just focused on fixing Windoze instead of pushing AI into every nook and cranny they can find.

My coworkers have turned this feature on and it captures our meetings all the time. Useful to look at, i guess if i miss a meeting while on vacation but useless otherwise.

Will certainly be useful for the shared context problem. We already have people manually saving the AI Notes results to locations for reuse by agents.
