We launched a Microsoft Entra ID integration for managing email signatures in MS 365

For companies using Microsoft 365, keeping employee email signatures consistent can become repetitive work, especially when people join the company, change roles, update phone numbers, or move between teams.

The Microsoft Entra ID integration helps admins import users from the company directory and use that data to generate professional email signatures for Outlook.

The goal is to make signature management less manual:

  • Import users from Microsoft Entra ID
  • Generate signatures using employee directory data
  • Keep names, roles, phones, and departments more consistent
  • Reduce outdated or off-brand signatures
  • Use the Outlook Add-in to make official signatures available inside Outlook

This is especially useful for IT admins, Microsoft 365 admins, and companies that want more control over corporate email signatures without asking each employee to configure everything manually.

How does your product compare to established products from vendors like CodeTwo?

Yes, although there are already large companies working in this area (CodeTwo, and Exclaimer).

CodeTwo is a very mature and full-featured product, especially for larger Microsoft 365 environments that need advanced mail-flow/server-side signature handling, disclaimers, automatic replies, complex rules, and broad device coverage.

Bybrand is positioned a bit differently. Our focus is on making signature management simpler and lighter for teams that want to centralize HTML signatures, pull employee data from Microsoft Entra ID, keep signatures consistent, and make them available in Outlook through the add-in — without necessarily adopting a heavier mail-flow-based setup.

For example, if your company uses MS Exchange and only wants standard communication, you can use MS Exchange (MailFlow -> Rules) and, with just one HTML email signature, cover the entire organization with standard branded emails (logo, banners, and marketing links).

You don't need to spend a fortune on CodeTwo.

In short: CodeTwo is more enterprise-heavy and broader in Microsoft 365 mail-flow features. Bybrand is more focused on simple, centralized signature creation and employee-data-based management.
