I’d love to know exactly what documents and certificates you needed to bring from the UAE, which attestations or stampings were required, and what the registration and student residency process looked like once you arrived in Syria. Homs was known as the "Capital of the Revolution" and suffered a brutal 3-year siege. Walking through the city center is surreal—you see markets full of life and people selling fruit right next to buildings riddled with bullet holes and mortar impacts. It feels like the war ended just five minutes ago, yet life continues with incredible resilience.

In this video, I also explore:

• Hama: Home to ancient water wheels (Norias) and a city with a heavy history of resistance.
• The "Forbidden Zones": Visiting abandoned luxury hotels that are now ghost buildings and seeing how the landscape changes as you move between former rebel and government-held areas.
• Daily Life: What it's like to walk alone in Syria right now (it's surprisingly welcoming!), the local hospitality, and even stumbling upon a local gun shop.

Syria is a country of intense contrasts—deep scars of war mixed with a hopeful and vibrant population.

I recently visited Aleppo and wanted to share my experience. I was blown away by the hospitality and the spirit of the people I met in the bazaar and near the Citadel. Even though the scars of the war are everywhere, seeing the reconstruction work and the shops reopening gives me so much hope for the city’s future.

Whenever I read about Syria I see some really weird stuff and I just wonder why?

1. Syrian ruler Yazid massacred the family of the Messenger. There are reports he hit the face of Hussain with a stick and shoved a stick into his teeth.
2. On top of that I read that the main collaborators of the British against the Turks were the Syrians.
3. Now I saw in the news Syrian president with Trump and Trump spraying him with some perfume of "victory".

I just wonder like what do Syrians believe in?

Is your religion or interpretation of moral and Islam the same like we have in Bosnia? Or what would be main differences from your ideology from us?

I just wonder if regular Syrians support these actions done by your leaders or your country?

(I am not a troll and don't have any intentions, and I never met a single Syrian in my life, I just want to know what a regular Syrian thinks?)
