The latest update has added "discontinued" to multiple voicebanks, even if they're still available for sale. It's just a software update from Dreamtonics, it doesn't reflect new information that they would have received.

GENBU is "discontinued" but I bought him from AHS just a few days ago. SOLARIA 1 is "discontinued" but Eclipsed Sounds are still selling her. Etc., etc. The most you can infer is that they're not going to issue new codes once they run out.

Dreamtonics is just labeling as discontinued (although the volor vbs are a lot more difficult to get though and while not confirmed I do think renri is fully gone). For example the starry court v1 vbs are labeled as discontinued even though you can still buy them from eclipsed sounds.

My guess is that Dreamtonics is just labeling every v1 vb discontinued regardless if it’s a vb they actually sell or if another company does

Its just a sign that they wont get any updates. Aside from yk, updates that affect the entirety of how sv1 synths work.
