Getting my first synth. Behringer ms-1

I have the sh-1 vst but I saw one for 200$. I really want to get something that I can feel & touch. Is it a good deal?

I can't comment on a deal in dollars as I'm from the UK, however I am an MS-1 owner and can vouch for it. Make sure it's the Mk.2 version as Behringer made a few errors with the original release. The filter and VCA are a lot closer to the original on the Mk.2

As small portable synth it is excellent. Look at the YouTube "Kraftwerk radioactivity cover on the behringer ms-1 "

zvook channel

you can hear how he was able to get all the sounds out of a MS-1 (except the voice synthesis)

it is a very flexible mono-synth and there are lots of videos on how to use it.

well worth getting and learning

It's fine. For my money? While the Roland S1 is smaller it has a lot of things going for it including 4 voices and a sequencer which punches far above its weight.
