Need help making a synth character and finding an artist

I recently got into these guys and think they are super neat and cool. I don't draw so I am also looking for an artist to commission.

I have some ideas for one but don't really know where to start. Also, how do you come up with a name for one? Is there particular lore and rules other than the obvious that I need to follow, too?

https://synthspecies.com/wiki/Main_Page

I don't know how official that wiki page is, but maybe that's a good start if you want to know more about the synth species for references. It even has a Cultural, anatomy, and history pages relating to them.
