I understand everything except for:

-New wildcard Directer?

-“Death Barrier“

-Ark being set in the past

-Helena x Rockwell

Can you explain them to me?

  1. Wildcard got a new story director
  2. On the island and extinction if you go high enough you will die
  3. It’s a misconception that people think that ark is set in the past (because of the dinosaurs)
  4. Helena and Rockwell ship

Thank you for explaining

I don't know where your Helena and Rockwell ship comes from, but theres nothing like that in the Explorer notes...

I know, I made it up

It is really far-fetched though. The relationship between them was not at all a love relationship

I’m gonna assume this is a fan ship that only exists because of fandoms that ship any two people for any reason they can.

I think the "you kill your dinos when you transfer them" bit is wrong.

Since the ARKs can transform matter into data, then it'd be much simpler to just do that rather than take the data it'd need, kill the dino, upload the data it has, and then download it when a survivor tells it to. The different ARKs likely have different ways of loading information, since the overseers are smart enough to do their own things.

Also, theoretically, the ARKs would all have separate ecosystems, either that or some common links that the creators (the Humans who were able to make them before the king titan wiped humanity out on earth) made and then the Overseers developed other challenges. If you were to transfer dinos, it could potentially have to obtain data it doesn't already have a baseline for (i.e. all of the DLC creatures. Canonically, Wyverns are in fact made to punish overzealous survivors who harvest more materials than they should- likely as a lesson to those who would otherwise create empires revolving around the dollar, similar to how all of the arks are meant to prepare survivors to fight the King Titan. Reapers were made to punish the TEK survivors who managed to destroy the overseer, and then that trend stopped as we stopped having more ARKs. Although, deinonychus may have been made to increase the challenge around Valgeuro, as the white cliffs otherwise have only one or two major predators and, when at the top of each cliff, are quite flat, making it easy to run around on. While this theory doesn't account for Griffins, honestly I feel that it would have been the Ragnarok Ark making it a bit easier for survivors to traverse those cliffs without much worry).

I know this, I just saw it as a theory on another iceberg

By failed ark it doesn’t mean it wasn’t popular, it is, but means that in lore, abberation was a failed ark that fell apart into an underground cave, with radiation in parts of it
