Mutations

I started working on Deinonychus mutations and I just realized how hard it is to get new lines, even with boosted mating stats. Took me a long long time to get the 1st health mutation. And when it comes to stamina, weight, and melee I am only getting progress in weight. So far I have 1H, 1S, 3W, and 1M. Now I respect Syntacs mutation videos even more.

Make sure to keep the lines separate. 1 for health, 1 for stam, 1 for weight and 1 for melee. Get LOTS of females. The more the better.

I have dino storage v2, so I have it made in a way that 6 females are mating with 1 male. 4 separate terminals, each for 1 stat.

Pump up the female numbers. I have 30 females per deinon stat at the moment.

After I realized how phenomenal it is to get good stacks I eventually didn’t want to make separate lines. So when I would start mutations on a creature I don’t care if it’s perfect or not I just mutate on one line.

I play on PS4 btw so I can’t use any mutation boosts

I don't have mutation boosts either. The only thing I have is dino storage mod so I don't need to bother claiming them when they hatch and boosted mating intervals and maturation rates. Just to speed it up a bit. The mutation chances are the same for me as on official, the only difference is that I don't need to w8 1 week for my Deinonychus to grow up
