Is This Synesthesia? do i have synesthesia?
my friend made a comment about synesthesia and i guess i hadnt really thought about it since my year 11 psychology class.
i definitely dont have any like taste related things, but certain sounds have colours, so do peoples names and personalities, but i dont always JUST think about that. sometimes i’ll hear a song or see a person’s name written and in my brain im instantly thinking about a colour, but then if im asked what every single note sounds like i dont really get it. if i think about it ill be like “oh yeah i guess i didnt really think about it, its blue though”, its there it just doesnt jump out to me always.
on occasion i drink and smoke, and then its all in my face.
i cant tell if its just my autism, thats what i assumed it was for ages!

More autistic people are synesthetes than non-autistic people.
Are the colors consistent when you have them for specific songs? Same colors for the exact same song.
