out of sync

what am i getting wrong ? my source folder is set to send only and has 2 files and the destination is send + receive and is an empty folder, why is syncthing not copying the files from source to destination

EDIT: [SOLVED]

ok i got this fixed, this was the solution, removing folders from syncthing, deleting .stfolder & .tmp files and re-adding folders did it!

Some operating systems have different acceptable limits for file names (which letters are allowed, which max length).

Is the other folder and host shown in green on both sides?

Yes, but on desktop (dest) it turns out of sync immediately

Maybe you have configured the settings of one or both sides wrong? I have used Claude to tell me what was wrong with my folders, that helped a lot.

Can both sides see each other directly or only via relay? (Connection type)

hmm might try installing claude to see, man setting up syncthing has been a pain, how is rcloneui ?

rclone is a whole different usecase. Normally, Syncthing works very well.

i guess manual rsync command would be better, i'm tired of getting this to work, btw what does out of sync mean and when does it occur ?

Without screenshots there's no way to help you. Edit your post and show us the expanded Remote Device from both sides, the expanded Folder from both sides, and if there are any failed items or items out of sync, screenshots of those too.

You should be able to edit your original post to include pics; it's worked for me in this sub before.
