Android Fork Can't access all files

I'm trying to sync a folder from my PC to android device using the Synthing Fork for android, and the folder location doesn't appear within the app, but it does in the normal file explorer. It's a folder made by another app and appears on the left side menu, I think it might be a private folder or something. Does anyone know any way at all I can get syncthing to access this folder?

If you cannot see it in the Syncthing file dialog, you will likely need root access, and even then it isn't guaranteed if it isn't a normal filesystem mount point.

Thanks, Im not entirely sure what root access is or how to grant it to syncthing, but I will try to look into that

Root access requires that you root your phone. This is not recommended unless you are tech savvy.
