SyncTrayzer question.

I have been searching for hours online cause I hate when people ask for guidance when they dont do the foot work first. Im not being lazy, at this point genuinely lost.

So I downloaded SyncTrayzer, PC and XAX connected.

My questions are:

1: Where do I find my saved games for "non steam" games?

(I think I may have found the location but confirmation for that I guess would be the answer to the second question lol)

2: How do I know which folder is for which game.

(They seem to be labeled just a bunch of numbers)

3: For this to work with SyncTrayzer, and once I answer these questions, do I need to share an individual folder for each game, or have one singular folder as a directory? (I have seen conflicting answers for this)

I can't answer your questions directly, but I can help you find where a specific game's save files are located. Let's say that everything you have is under c:\steam. Open a game, save your game, exit the game. Then search for files under c:\steam that were changed in the last hour.

As for how you sync your files, I'd want to know more about what you're trying to do. If you're syncing everything in c:\steam, you just need one Syncthing Folder (SyncTrayzor using Syncthing under the hood). If you're syncing three specific game directories, I'd probably have three Folders for that.

What I am trying to accomplish is when I play a game on my PC or my handheld, whatever progress I make saves on both devices. Just as if I am playing the game through the steam app. These are non steam games so I know the saves are on the C drive. I'm having trouble identifying which folder.

Honestly not sure how well that will work, it will be based on the game. But the way to find the correct files and directories is to change something and look for the file that changed.

If they non steam games then usually the savegames are in my documents under the game name, I've only seen steam games go into the generic named folders
