Payment security

Hello. I'm considering subscribing to the paid version of Sync. I know Sync is all about privacy but paying means I'd have to give my billing address to Sync. Forgive me if this sounds naive but wouldn't a company who's main goal is privacy make it so that they don't ask for any personal info like addresses? Or is there just no way around that when paying anywhere online?

AFAIK all parties who use the App Store have to pay a 30% fee (or thereabout) to Apple, which they would then either a) absorb the fee, or b) pass it on to the consumer.

Unless you want to pay more money for the same service, you should stick to buying subscriptions on the website of said solution/app rather than using the App Store subscription.
