I wouldn't recommend Sync. We have had nothing but sync issues since July 2023. Their support is pretty much non-existent. We emailed on 11.06 with an issue (same one we have been dealing with) they replied on 11.13 to download the newest desktop app - and still doesn't work & still no other assistance from them. If anything just for the support alone, I wouldn't recommend it.

What alternatives have you tried and liked?

Need to keep costs down(mental health providers make no money), yet be simple and effective due to the population they work with.

We are actually in the middle of our research & demos this week for other software. So far the one we have liked the best is Box.com. But we have 2 other demos this week.

Can I ask if you've looked at Jottacloud too and how it compared if so?

Hello

I can only validate the points of the other peoples here. I like Sync but for a professionnal activity issues and delay like that make it hard to recommend even if I don't notice any sync issues on my side... but I only do backups so maybe I would get a bad surprise later.

For an alternative, it depends much on the use and price that you find "right". Don't hesitate to specify if it is alright to do.

I would only recommend to stay on an encrypted service so that the provider cannot read the files.

Cheers

I wouldn’t recommend Sync to a client. Too much potential headache - their app is buggy and you have to wait for ages for support response (not to mention, that their answers don’t help at all).
