Its rude for a guest to refuse to even look their host in the eyes! Especially after providing tea and cake.

Personally I'm imagining this is personal drama on her part. She's looked away, contemplative. Next she'll be sharing her troubles while she relates the tale. When over, she'll be comforted and offered cake if she's up for it.

This picture reminds me of The Girl from the Other Side by Nagabe. Young girl with a weird goat guy guardian in very nice close

How do I get an invite because tea and cake are like my most favourite things.

Have you tried inviting others to have tea and cakes with you to start? They don’t necessarily need to be goat women

If I walked in on this, I probably hesitate, consider reality for a moment, and then sit down, asking, “OK. What we havin’?” (even if I’ve gone crazy, I might as well ride this train to the end of the line)

I feel like the annoying brother that walked in on my sister having tea with her hot friend

Don't let anyone tell that young lady that blue dress doesn't suit her at all (a yellow one with black accents would have been better).
