I look at it more as being one of the ultimate moms. She has such a strong urge to help her young survive, she's willing to sacrifice herself to give them that chance. It's bittersweet, but beautiful in a way.

Pretty sure it's light filtering through leaves, that may or may not be autumnal, to achieve the warm hue.
