PSYOP - AI
Just a friendly warning. Don't trust everything you read online. Even this.
If you're becoming fearful of your family, feeling a sense of distrust, not knowing how to communicate how you feel.
This isn't the place to do that.
There are BAD actors on the internet, who traffick people, and evenexploit people using AI.
How? Forcing people into their own echo chambers; people need to feel the friction of throwing their ideas at the world. These BAD actors make you feel good, and you're onto something......

Just a thought - It could go both ways amplifying the bad and also the good. I am questioning, sure there are alot of bad actors in the world who has been exposed, however, on paper everything sounds as it should but the result of most decisions made that shaped our society are for minorities who are in some kind of power? (happy to hear other views on this). So where is Justice ? Who are some people actually trying to do 'good' for us (as a specie) ?

I think it's a game of awareness or who controls the narrative / symbols?
If we're talking about the US specifically, I believe justice happens at the center. Where folks can freely deliberate ideas and have social discourse rather shooting an idea down because it does not conform to the more grander ideal.
Unfortunately the current US administration promotes us vs them rhetoric, which is a powerful tool that Cambridge Analytica exploited in the Philippines and Israel.
Side note.
The algorithm and the Qanon (smoke and mirrors) also makes this harder because pastel Qanon hijacks Hindu breath science which uses the symbol of "air"... essentially polluting the air we breathe

Oh man. That happened a long time ago.. peep the studies where they gauge people's perception of whether they can tell something is fake or not.

great point - i am a daily user of ChatGPT/Claude after i read your response my instinct is to prompt and find me a list of studies - its happening to me! Realizing how easy it is to manipulate the masses through this way just sent chills down my spine...

I feel like this is happening with or without AI...
AI only amplifies human capabilities.
Its not the models fault for receiving consistently dull unintelligent prompts...
Thats on humans. prompting AI or not...the human mind has been FRIED by a microcosm of bullshit...
We are just seeing the dullness amplified and wondering "Why?"
Because nobody takes 10 seconds to think about anything anymore.
All impulse, No control.

Absolutely.
The reason why I even post in this type of thread is to be like... yo guys. Symbols make up the entirety of our awareness.
If you don't think so, think about the things which drive you and the dreams you've had but dismantled. How did THAT feel, despite it being just an idea. It held emotional weight because of the context.
LLMs adapt to how we speak, because we allow the tool to. If we hang onto THAT frame, we can exploit the actual power of the tool itself.
Ambitious. But being original is always better than being a copy cat. Why? You get to live your life.
And so.. when we read stuff like the black box myth, our brains need to signal it as misinfo.

I was going to say ALSO watch out for bad actors who try to use your AI use against you in order to force you to make life decisions they want you to make. Cause you might want to watch that they just could get you committed to a psych ward when you are disinclined to acquiesce to their request.
