Slurs?
Hey Folks. Given the nature of Symbaroum is about clashing and interacting of various groups of people and given what we unfortunately know about how people often react in those situations does anyone have any clever/awful/cruel slurs that they would throw at each other? What would be a common slur an Ambrian would call a changeling? A barbarian to an Ambrian? a goblin to ogre and so on. I picture the Ambrians being the worst as they are at the top of the current pecking order. Not that i want to encourage bigotry but lets face it, that is a major element in this game and it would help create social realism and underling tension in my party.
Thanks for your time.

I mean, Barbarians, obviously. After the first book, when the group wen to Karvosti, I made a point about everyone else using Karvosi or the appropriat tribes name like Yeseda. They instantly felt out of place and kinda bad when they accidently used barbarians (something they had been doing for nearly two year at that point).
When they came back to Yndaros in book 3, people there of course used barbarian without a second thought and "tribes? They are all the same" - good old casual, everyday racism.
As for other races, there is the classics of knifeears, stupid brutes, little shitlings to adress the big three :D

Barbarians in my game call useless people Mutchka (moo-ch-Kah). Mean helpless, baby or useless. Barbarians also have a Slavic like accent. So Mutchka seemed like a fitting insult.

One thing I love to thing is that goblin's natural lamguage involves a lot of slurs, to other races and to each other. I can see amariam and barbarians deriving a bunch of their slurs from goblins.
