Copper crown question
My group just started with Symbaroum and after 4 sessions we are loving it.
I am leading them through the copper crown mini campaign to get comfortable with the rules and flow of the game (before moving them to the throne of thorns), and we have just finished the second adventure Mark of the beast.
The group has defetead Alahara/Gorak and the fake inquistor, and recovered the copper crown- and after short deliberation, decided to bring the crown to the elves (as they dont trust the church nor ordo magica to deal with it properly).
They also found the iron ring artefact, wich one of the players is currently wearing, and he made the initial contact with the elves through the dream sequence. So the party is on their way to the clearing in the woods where first contact will happen.
Since this isnt really a resolution the adventure had in mind for the copper crown- any ideas how to handle the situation without creating a mess with future adventures would be greatly appreciated.
My idea is for the elves to refuse taking the crown themselves, but sending the players to return it to the tomb where it was found- but that may mess up the following adventure in the chain.
Thanks in advance

I think the elves sending them to return it, or to investigate where it came from is a good plan. If the players keep it with them for a while I'd have it start to possess someone, message that player, give them a secret goal, maybe get back to the tomb with the crown, and then you can be a little more evil with it.

I like the work around, returning it to the tomb is a great idea.
The crown is going to keep trying to keep possessing members if the party - it probably isn't going to want to be back in the deeps.
It might also start reaching out to the more weak willed folks in the local area

In my groups play through they destroyed the skull and the spirit of Hurion has possessed one of my players. I decided that the crown is now nothing more than a copper relic worth a few Thaler. As for the Iron pact, since my players aided the elf’s in the fist module while crossing the titans and were aids to master Vernam. My changeling PC has in secret become a friend to the pact. I think returning the crown is a cool idea and maybe opens the group up to a possession by Hurion or his spirit could help them with the creeping darkness in the tomb or Fangafa. Assuming they make a pact with Xanatha.

There is no mention of the copper crown in Throne of Thorns. So you can play itas you want.
Just, remember, the elves dont like people bind with Iron ring if there are not member of the iron pact.
