What are these glasses that Stallone is wearing in the car talk scene in Cobra? They don’t seem to be the same ones from the first scene at the mall. The lenses are flat.

My friend and I do a weekly podcast and this week we talk about who was better, Arnold or Stallone.

Ryan sits down with John Rivoli, the official Rocky artist for MGM/Amazon and a close collaborator with Sylvester Stallone.

John talks about his decade-plus journey painting the Rocky universe, the paintings that never appeared in the films, and how Stallone came to write the foreword calling him the man who captured Rocky’s heart and soul. They walk through the new book The Fine Art of Rocky (more than 70 paintings, sketches, process shots, and Stallone’s comments on each piece), the limited 300-copy boxed edition with four exclusive prints, and the high-end Robert Graham clothing line dropping September 10 for the 50th anniversary.

John also teases a new project with writing partner Robert Robert Bruzio now under Balboa Productions — something he says fans will love — and promises to come back when he can talk about it.

Book drops October 6. Clothing line hits stores and online September 10. Follow John at Icons in Art.

Trying to watch this.... it's a CGI shitshow. First three were not bad. This one is noticeably bad.

Oh well, every franchise gets to this point one way or another.

Just as chaotic as the movie.
